This is my Ted talk that I wrote about sports and the sports community. I wanted to shed some light on what a sport actually is and how so many sports go unrecognized and aren't appreciated.
When writing this Ted talk I learned to understand the meaning of writing in my own voice. Unlike so many other written projects I was really able to let go, and say what I wanted without following any format. This project was also an exercise in public speaking. Doing this talk allowed me to work on my pacing, timing, and articulation on certain words. I do like to say that I am very comfortable with presentations and public speaking, and that I have a very conversational yet informative speaking style.
